The Noth American Economic Development Council (NAED) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing economic development programs across North America. Our members include cities, counties, states, provinces and private sector representatives across Canada, the United States and Mexico.

NAED mission is to develop and implement innovative solutions to public policy challenges.

The purpose of NAED is to promote the economic development of NAFTA member countries and its communities, encourage sound practices in the conduct of regional, national and local development programs, and to develop education and professional development programs that enhance the professional development skills of NAED members.

NAED is dedicated to promote economic development programs and best practicces in North America including programs to promote dialogue, intercultural understanding and Cooperation. To speak the same language in economic development across the NAFTA Region.
